WANTED, 2 Archers that can shoot with 2 arrows to lower the number of deer eating my alfalfa. The property is located In GMU030, contains about xxxx acres, north of Grand Junction. You will be in the prime Colorado River Valley with irrigation. The agricultural fields they are feeding in are planted in corn and hay, with the alfalfa the food of choice this time of the year.
The deer tend to go to the fields in the morning and evening then bed in the draws and washes that are filled with cover between the fields during the day. The mule deer pattern very easily and the hunting gets better the later in September we get. They have their bedding areas in the cover between the fields and they each have trails they use every day to get into the alfalfa.
If that isn?t a ready-made setup for an archer I don?t know what is. I have 2 vouchers this year but there are plenty of deer. Two archery working in unison can set these deer up on their trails for an easy ambush. As a rule they can only focus on one danger at a time. In this way by avoiding one they walk right into the others ambush.
The vouchers for a license, the property access, and my patterning information and locations are $xxxx but I will give it all for only $695 if 2 hunters the two tags. The season is starting but as the days get cooler it is more pleasurable to hunt. The licenses are good for the whole season but if you can fling arrows accurately, you won?t need long.
